| Abstract: | Zomba group has bought the Chappell Recorded Music Library. The deal brings about 6000 copyrights under the Zomba banner. Zomba acquired Bruton Music from Michael Jackson in 1986. Now Zomba controls nearly 90% of background music library market. There is an increasing demand for cost effective music with satellite TV and broadcasting networks spreading. |
