| Abstract: | SonyD-1 digital VTR has caught on quickly in London. It can make any amount of generations of copies without spoiling the quality. Owing to the digital signals, things like audio wow and flutter don't exist. It can also be used for telecine. But D-1 cannot take PAL. Ampex announced a PAL format would be available for DVTR in early 1989. |
