| Abstract: | On 29 November, the U.K. Home Secretary, D. Hurd, the British Videogram Assn. and the Video Trade Assn. had a private meeting. Hurd was satisfied with the way the Video Recording Act of 1984 is working.But he warned the home video industry to redouble its efforts to prevent showing of unrated or age restricted videos to young people. The video delegates have promised to urge the Video Packing Review Committee to be more severe when censoring the packaging of horror videos. |
