Abstract: | What will we see in coming years will be three kinds of companies: those that offer little or nothing to families; those that offer company day care in an increasingly controlled work environment; and those that offer a range of choices, flexibility, and time - with or without on-site day care. If we are to create a truly family-friendly work-place, one final question is extremely important: Will we allow ourselves, as parents to be passed by for workplace advancement because we have supposed special needs? |
