| Abstract: | The article investigates how service characteristics influence the intensity of price discrimination. Based on economical reasoning it is hypothesized that the service characteristics perishability, integration of the external factor, and individually effect the intensity of price discrimination positively whereas the service characteristic perceived risk in purchase effects the intensity of price discrimination negatively. All hypotheses are supported in an empirical study. |
