| Abstract: | China has systematically mastered the technology of high-definition digital television after USA and Europe, which lays a technical foundation for the upgrading of national television industry. It isn't easy for China to transit to the stage of digital television. Television signals and the standard of the transmission system must be redefined. Camara-shooting and recording equipment, broadcasting equipment used by TV stations, television transmission equipment and television receivers must be renewed completely, the investment of which is immense. Prices for new products are relatively high and their operation is rather complicated. It is difficult for consumers to accept. Digital television in China will gradually undergo a transitional period in its developing process. |
