Abstract: | This article argues that interactive television could well revolutionize the way broadcast media is consumed. However, potential interactive television users are not yet familiar with the concept of interactive television, and also the services available still need to be developed. This article is based on a study of users' aspirations and obstacles to interactive television service engagement in the United Kingdom. A second screen solution is introduced and tested in a representative group of family homes. |
