| Abstract: | According to the demand of market economy, the present management system of China's oil industry should be reformed in the following aspects: (1) Separating the government management of oil resources from its administration of oil enterprises; (2) Separating government administration from enterprise management in order that oil enterprises will no longer subordinate themselves to some department of the government; (3) Separating government administration from its management of assets so that the government's departments will no longer be the representatives of state-owned assets except public facilities; (4) Separating formulating laws, regulations and policies from conducting regulation and control over oil industry. |
