| Abstract: | The leveraged management buy-out is used in Europe. In Belgium, the legislator's attention is drawn to this technique of firm takeover. In December 1986, the Minister, sir Hansenne, presented a draft law aimed at favouring the buy-out of firms by members of the staff by granting of various tax advantages. This draft law is analysed and its limited scope is demonstrated. |
