| Abstract: | In medium-sized companies seldom occurs that an in-company successor fails because of the lack of familiar possibilities. If the entrepreneurial preconditions are met, a management buy-out can certainly constitute a very exacting but nevertheless, interesting solution. Several motives for a management buy-out are listed and analyzed. Its exceptional suitability for medium-sized companies is demonstrated. |
