Abstract:Ethnic consumers have historically displayed little response to promotional campaigns that involve coupon redemption. In comparison with the general population, most ethnic consumers are relatively light coupon users. Most studies examining coupon redemption in ethnic markets suggest that specific cultural barriers have contributed to the ethnic consumers' lack of response toward using coupons.
