| Abstract: | Who owns your organization's supply chain? How many organizations hold some stake in the success of your supply chain? Borrowing heavily on quality management precedents, the article describes a disciplined, deliberate method for supply chain governance, assessment, and management. It is demonstrated how a supply chain steering committee can use critical assessment information to analyze and manage all aspects of the supply chain as a team. Supply chains are complex, sometimes fragile relationships. This method works to keep everyone happy by keeping everyone efficient. |
