| Abstract: | Despite some obstacles, Russian companies affiliated with Western companies are making impressive strides towards building effective management accounting systems. The need for a professional dimension to management accounting in Russia is being met through the work of the London-based Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) resulting in CIMA-certified accountants in Russia and in the early stages of establishing an Institute of Management Accountants in Russia. |
