Abstract:The Swedish soft drinks market was the largest out of the three Scandinavian countries, registering a total volume of 969 million litres in 1992. The Norwegian market was second in volume and amounted to 606 million litres, while the Danish market was the smallest at 565 million litres. After years of little or no growth, all three Scandinavian markets demonstrated positive growth in both value and volume sales in 1992. This partly due to the particularly hot and dry summer of 1992.
