Abstract:The characteristics of Beijing clothing market are as follows: 1. The deep background of regional culture. Influenced by geographical and cultural factors, most of consumers like the garment reflecting people's sober and steady, and terse qualities, and value the quality of a material for making the outside of a garment and fine work workmanship and prefer the European and American styles. 2. Distinct-level structure of consumption. The consumers purchasing high-grade, mid-grade and low-grade garments account for 1%, 70% and less than 30% of the total. 3. Consumers' awareness of trademarks has been enhanced increasingly. 4. Multi-channel sales-promoting.
