| Abstract: | 1. Inequality of income distribution. According to statistics, by the end of 1997, the savings deposit balance of our residents has amounted to RMB 4,600 billion and more than RMB 1000 billion is held in cash. Generally speaking, there is huge purchasing power. However, its distribution is unbalanced. Due to serious inequality of income distribution ,the majority of residents don't posses much spare money. 2. The lagging of the adjustment of industrial structure. (1) Severe convergence in industrial structure everywhere. The result of swarming can only be over competition of markets and premature arrival of the saturation period of products. (2)The speed of industrial upgrade is too slow that it can't create new hot spots of consumption. 3. The adaptabity of enterprises is poor and they can't satisfy consumers' demands. |
