Abstract:This report analyses the retail market for hot drinks in France for the period 1995 to 1999. A discrete analysis of sales through the horeca channel is included. Forecasts are to the year 2004. The market is divided into three sectors: coffee, tea, other hot drinks. Coffee incorporates fresh and instant coffee. Fresh coffee is split into beans and ground formats. Instant coffee breaks down into standard and decaffeinated coffee. Tea comprises standard and speciality loose and bagged tea, and also includes fruit/herbal and instant. Other Hot Drinks incorporates chocolate, malt based and other planbbased beverages. Chocolate malt drinks are included in malt based beverages. Yeast/meat extract drinks are excluded.
