Abstract:This report analyses the market for textile washing products in Germany. For the purposes of the report, the author has divided the market into the following four main sectors: Textile washing detergents; Fabric softeners; Carpet shampoos and Laundry aids. Textile washing detergents and laundry have been further subdivided: Textile Washing Detergents: 1) Automatic detergents, comprising: powder detergents (both standard and concentrated); tablets; and liquid detergents (both standard and concentrated). 2) Other detergents, comprising: hand wash detergents; and fine fabric detergents. Laundry Aids: 1) Spot and stain removers (both pre-wash and in-wash). 2) Other laundry boosters 3) Colour safe laundry bleach; 4) Curtain care; 5) Starch/ironing aids; 6) Water softeners; 7) Fabric fresheners; 8) Home dry cleaning.
