Abstract:It is necessary to either follow the entrepreneurs closely and record their observed behavior or to examine a set of behavioral attributes that are commonly found among entrepreneurs. The use of observation as a means of collecting data on entrepreneurial behavior is similar to Mintzberg's approach in studying the managerial behavior of big companies (Mintzberg, 1973). In this paper, the authors use the latter approach by collecting managers' responses to various incidents and examining their behavioral attributes that contribute to entrepreneurship.
