Abstract:This study analyses sport and digital gaming through a questionnaire based survey distributed to undergraduate students in Sheffield. According to this study, there is no evidence to indicate that participating in digital gaming can affect negatively on levels of sports participation. Besides, digital gaming may even increase people's interest and knowledge of sport. It also suggests that there continues to be certain gender differences in gaming patterns.
