| Abstract: | The article discusses issues concerning the individuals' reasons to take part of different social activities in organized groups or non-institutionalized ways. Also the relationship between political and cultural participation was studied. The participation habits of Spanish citizens were analyzed with structural equation modeling method. The results suggest that different forms of participation are mutually supportive for there is no hard competition between the participation methods. |
