| Abstract: | It will take more than snazzy pricing and an impressive line-up of investment banks to tempt German retail investors into the Deutsche Telekom privatization. Getting foreign investors to hold onto the stock could be even trickier. The privatization of Deutsche Telekom could be the greatest stimulant to growth and development the German market has ever seen. Or it could be a drag so gigantic as to dwarf Japan's NTT issue. Either way, the sell-off of Germany's telephone utility will be a massive event. |
