| Abstract: | Many IE's are using Product Data Management (PDM) and Workflow Management (WFM) to electronically manage people, information, applications, and processes. These systems, however, allow the management of only some of these elements in isolation. An integrated approach implemented with a commercial PDM and a generic, object-based WFM product, recently has demonstrated productivity improvements at several leading manufacturing sites. |
