Abstract:The three principal products in this class are car-radios, radio-casette players and tape players not incorporating radio receiver. Attention is focused on market sales, and market size tables contain sales in this category. Other products in this market include a growing number of audio separates to upgrade existing equipment /speakers, graphic equalizers, CD players/. In-car entertainment or "autosound" continues to be a major growth sector. During the past five years, products have shifted from being viewed as luxury items to essential ones.
