Abstract: | This paper provides an overview of the basic concepts of intertemporal equilibrium theory, and discusses the frameworks and techniques used in this subject. It then goes on to introduce the main themes discussed in the papers included in this symposium issue. These papers are contribution to various aspects of intertemporal equilibrium theory. The papers included in this symposium were first presented at a conference of Meiji-Gakuin University, Tokyo. In this paper authors summary ten papers included in the symposium with the hope that the reader will be prompted to quickly move to the papers themselves and appreciate their full flavor. |
