Abstract:The author of the article states that despite difficult market conditions, low-fares airline Ryanair which is recognized as Europe's low-fares airline and becoming the Emerald Isle's success story has been leaving its rivals on the tarmac. The author states that this company started life 17 years ago under a new management team, a major overhaul of the airline was undertaken in 1990-91 and the company was relaunched s the very first in Europe of a new breed - the no-frills airline, adapted from a business model pioneered by Southwest Airlines in the US. The author considers the following topics: A noise for consumers, Taken to the skies, Turbulent times. The author also states that there are 700m people in Europe and they all have high propensity to travel. We haven't even scratched the surface yet.
