Abstract:China has lost many famous brands of its own both in domestic and overseas markets during the period of reform and opening up to the outside world. It is attributed to the "invasion" of foreign famous brands and Chinese enterprises' less legal knowledge. In the 1980s alone , there were more than 2000 trade marks of export commodities which had been registered before hand by others abroad. However, some were recaptured and some created through lard struggle. To create and protect China's famous brands, we should know clearly the meaning of famous brands and make great efforts to create them, enhance people's awareness of protection of famous brands and make known China's famous brands.
