Abstract: | This article approaches the question of markets from a Wittgensteinian perspective. American defense industry is studied as an example of an extreme case. Also the Wittgensteinian idea of language games is taken into consideration: regulation, financial investment and strategic games are analyzed as language games that build up the market of defense industry. The findings of the analysis suggest the existence of families of markets. |
