| Abstract: | A novel way to approach tourism by translating actor-network theory into the provinces of tourism research is introduced in this paper. Presenting the concept of tourismscapes, the author states that people, organizations, objects, technologies, and spaces are linked in a multiple ways resulted from a complex process of translation. Therefore, the research on tourism includes an analysis of processes of association and ordering between heterogeneous elements. Seven constituents for future research based on actor-network theory are proposed. |
