| Abstract: | This paper attempts to provide comparative perspectives of university-state relations. Since countries have different starting points and the trends go in somewhat different directions, formulations are proposed with which to examine different systems comparatively. The main examples taken are those of the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway, Sweden, France and Germany. |
