Abstract: | The author states that we have a situation where both our current environmental deterioration and our social deterioration are driven by people with dominator mentalities. The situation is serious, and cannot be reversed by giving powerful financial interests more power. The common-sense line of solution is towards reduced actual consumption, increased sense of personal wellbeing and increased local self-reliance. Therefore, if you are a manager within a large corporation, ideally you should keep your job, but also be working to change the laws that give corporations undue advantage. This is what it means to be a responsible human being today. |
