| Abstract: | There emerge two historical trends in the world economy moving towards the 21 century -- the grouping of the world economic regions and the ever increasing integration of the world market. The Asian-Pacific area has had a rapid economic growth momentum. In the 1980s, the annual growth rate of the total export volume was 9.7%, twice the world annual growth rate. The high economic growth of China has already become the important pillar supporting the internal trade in the Asian-Pacific area. |
