| Abstract: | The paper analyses the economic situations of China as well as the world. It predicts that the total import and export volume in 1994 will be U.S.$216.6 million, an increase of 15.5 percent over last year. The total import volume is US$111.2 billion, with an increase rate of 14 percent. The export volume is $105.4 billion, and the increase rate is 17 percent. The trade deficit is U.S.$5.8 billion. The foreign exchange balance drops to about U.S.$15 billion. |
