| Abstract: | In the 3 years ahead, the train of thought on the development of Shanxi's economic and trade work is as follows: 1. Implementing seriously the policy of "wide opening up, big economy and trade, and big market" formulated by the provincial government, and making full use of the high way and railway which are the channels to the sea and the two exits on the Eurasian bridge connecting with the above channels so as to make a bridge leading to every part of the country and going towards the world; 2. Cultivating 30 foreign trade enterprises with annual exports worth over USD 20000000; 3. Making the total export volume reach dollar 1.2 billion and the accumulated contracted foreign investment dollar 1.8 billion in 1997. |
