| Abstract: | There is tremendous potential and good prospects in the development of the economic and trade relations between China and the countries in Northeast Asia. Out of China's ten top trade partners, three are countries in Northeast Asia (Japan, South Korea, and Russia). The article believes that the further development of regional economic cooperation in Northeast Asia requires that each country in this region should unite efforts to commonly abide by the following principles: (1) reciprocity on an equal footing and mutual respect, and settling problem and disagreement while developing regional economic cooperation , (2) opening markets to each other and rationalizing the allocation of productive forces, (3) common prosperity and reaching a consensus through consultation. |
