| Abstract: | In 1996, the export of foreign trade will still keep a moderate growth and it is estimated that its value will reach USD 160 billion, up 10% or so. Its increasing range is apparently narrower than that in the last two years. The import value will amount to USD 160 billion too, up 20% or so over 1995. Its growth rate is higher than before. The following measures should be taken to promote the stable and healthy development of foreign trade in 1996: enlarging the scale of export on the premise of optimizing the structure of export commodities and raising economic returns, continuing to push forward the reform of foreign trade system, strengthening policy support, creating relatively good macro economic environment for the development of foreign trade. |
