Abstract:Btw. 1992 and 1996 the toaster market was buoyant. Coffee maker sales declined , iron sales grew. Within the iron market, there has been a strong trend towards the premium priced, shot-of-steam sector. In toasters, the emergence of coloured and patterned toasters has helped to stimulate sales. The survey presents information, in particular in the United Kingdom, on market size and sectors, products and development (in short), production and foreign trade, consumption patterns (in short), manufacturers and brands (in short). Information on distribution, prices, advertising and promotion, and prospects is also presented.
