| Abstract: | Viewed from the changing trends in the world economy, trade and the international commodity market in 1997, overall, the external environment is favourable to China's foreign trade development. The steady growth of the world economy and the expanding capacity of world market will benefit China's export. It is estimated that the growth rate of GDP will reach 8%-9%, thus ensuring the vitality and delayed effect of export development in terms of supply. In 1997, the total volume of China's foreign trade will reach us $ 320-330 billion with a growth rate of 10% or so. |
