| Abstract: | The authors begin their paper by reviewing the weight of all the applicant countries in world trade and their relative importance as trading partners to the US, the European Union and Japan. In particular, they investigate whether not being a WTO member has put those countries at a disadvantage, compared with similar WTO members, in terms of market access for their exports. |
