| Abstract: | In terms of international situation the disadvantages are: Asian financial crisis, trade safeguarding, fierce international market competition and more difficulties in using foreign capital. The advantages are: international co -operation has been strengthened through economic globalization and international trade has been growing continuously. In terms of domestic situation the disadvantages are: the problems of system and mechanism formed through many years and contractive policy environment .The advantages are: sustained economic growth continues and the enterprise competitiveness has been strengthened. 23000 foreign economic and trade enterprises have built up a large economic and trade structure. Focal points of foreign trade in 1999: we should try to readjust exports structure, improve product quality, further open up the international market,etc |
