| Abstract: | The agenda for the implementation of the Uruguay Round, as well as the general awareness for capacity building in trade defensive instruments generated by the impact of international trade, has meant that a number of States have passed anti-dumping and countervailing legislation. The national focus now is on how best tp adopt affective, WTO-consistent mmachinery for anti-dumping and countervailing measures. This article focuses on some of the issues arising from the establishment of such machinery. |
