| Abstract: | Management accountants are crying out for client/server accounting systems but they don't know it. The author explains what client/server means and how it meets accountants' needs. The recent survey of CIMA members by Tate Bramald contained an amazing finding. When asked what they were looking for in a future purchase of accounting software, respondents said they wanted reliability , performance, on-line access to data files and a Windows interface. |
