Abstract:Without any doubt, companies will also be subject to the severe pressure of adaptation and innovation in the future. The question of whether a company can meet such requirements or anticipate this to a certain degree and convert its service into usable products is also - and above all - a question of management. Some new ideas about managerial success are discussed. Systems and structures are evaluated in the light of leadership's human orientation. The role of top management in motivating employees for innovation is emphasized. Suggestion schemes, team work and some other techniques are mentioned as useful means to foster innovation.
