| Abstract: | In 1995 the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Trade Policy Review division conducted its first review of Sri Lanka's trade policies. Like all such reports, this one is in two volumes and includes a report by the WTO secretariat and concluding remarks by the Chairman, Volume 1, and the Report by the Government of Sri Lanka, Volume II (World Trade Organization 1995). The summary of the WTO Secretariat's report and the concluding remarks by the Chairman of the Trade Policy Review Board tell the story of trade policy in Sri Lanka since the late 1970s. |
