Abstract:New Learning (NL) is an innovative process aimed at collaborative learning in professional and scholarly events. It is also a new way of approaching evaluation at professional conferences. NL is a process integral to a conference, focusing on the learner and how and what they learn. The NL process helps to structure and assess organizational learning as a primary outcome etc. This article deals with the NL process, reviews the related literature, describes what NL is and explains how it works, and compares it with traditional evaluation methods and theory.
