Abstract:Business has never been better in Jersey and Guernsey, the UK offshore centers. The two small island have a good deal of rivals, but none has more stable political and business life. The development started in the sixties with lifting interest-rate controls. A special feature is the high-quality of banking. The banks are obsessed by reputation, it is their main selling point. The island are just introducing regulations along UK's drug trafficking laws. They don't need funny money, since they have difficulties already with legitimate business.
