| Abstract: | The increase of peasants' income in the midwestern regions of China should be regarded as an important task in bringing about a comparatively wealthy and decent life in the countryside. The focal point of rural industrial development will shift to the processing industry in which farm, animal and aquatic products are used as raw materials so as to make gradual changes in China's industrial distribution, and develop the food industry to a great extent. This is an effective way to raise the additional value of farm products, with a huge potential for development. |
