Abstract: | Since the 1990s, developed countries have set off global upsurge of mergers, which possesses the following characteristics: an unprecedented over all scale, the large sum of money involved in each case, and an extensive range of its influence taking financial merger as its core while involving various lines, and focusing on horizontal mergers. As far as the positive aspects of this mergering upsurge are concerned, it is an inevitable out come of the intensity economic competition and it consolidates the power of large enterprises as the pillar of the modern economy. As far as the negative aspects are concerned, it strengthens the influential power of multinationals from developed countries on world economy and makes the subordinate status of developing countries even more protruding, which is extremely unfavorable for competition. |
