| Abstract: | The main ways for developing large-sized enterprise groups in China are as follows: 1. the alliance of strong enterprises to strengthen the core enterprises of enterprise groups; 2. expanding gradually the scale of member enterprises of groups, especially the core enterprises by means of merger, thus achieving the goal of enlarging the scale of the whole groups; 3. strengthening the scale of enterprise groups by means of holding the controlling share and participating in equity. In the development of enterprise groups towards being large-sized, the following need to arouse attention: Expanding scale should be combined with raising economic returns. The guiding principle of concentrating efforts on the main business while giving consideration to comprehensive business operation should be followed. |
