| Abstract: | Supply-demand characteristic: in terms of supply, brand competition becomes more and more fierce and the degree of market concentration has increased; brands of domestic products occupies the dominant position; the pressure of international competition is severe and Price competition is unusually fierce. In terms of consumption, the consumption level and total quantity has increased rapidly and consumption structure has changed greatly. The consumption differences between urban and rural areas are getting more and more obvious. Future market tread: consumption growth will continue; some new consumption fields will see a rapid growth; rural market will make further expansion and the overall price level in 1999 will rise by about 1.7 per cent. |
